About Emily Jordan

Emily Jordan is an up and coming line of simple and easy to wear silhouettes that are transformed by original textile prints.  Designer, Emily Jordan Gerstein, 19, prides her collection as her wearable artwork and continues to grow her following day by day, week by week, month by month, year by year. Gerstein started her freshman collection her junior year of high school at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts, where she studied as a visual arts major.  Now, she is a freshman at the University of Miami majoring in advertising on the creative track and is excited to see what opportunities arise for Emily Jordan in sunny South Florida.

Emily Jordan thanks Sandy & Rob Gerstein for all of their love and support throughout the journey of Emily Jordan.

Origin of Prints

Every original Emily Jordan print is made with love and a creative eye.  Each print is named after a characteristic or person near and dear to Emily’s heart.

Emily Jordan- our star print is named for Founder and CEO, Emily Gerstein, and is a unique combination of pinks, turquoise and neutral hues. This is the design that provided the inspiration for the Emily Jordan collection.

East Sider- this print is a soft combination of blues and greens.  Named after the “Upper East Side” where Emily was born, she offers a tribute to her childhood with this soft and elegant, yet vibrant pattern.

Haley- this print is a bohemian, geometric combination of dark blue, yellow, and various neutrals.  Named after Jennifer Zeisler, designer and creator of Jennifer Haley Handbags (www.shopjenniferhaley.com) and Emily's mentor, this print represents the knowledge and courage that Jennifer brings to all of her designs.  Thank you Jen for being an inspiration! Xx

Dante- this print is a combination of greys, white and black.  Named after Emily’s mom's childhood grey poodle (& coincidentally the street of Emily's maternal grandparents) it was only appropriate to name this unique print after Emily’s loving, supportive, amazing, and inspiring mother, Sandy Taub Gerstein.

Livingston- this print is a tribal combination of oranges, greens, blues, and soft yellow.  Named after the town where her dad grew up, Emily thanks her father, Rob Gerstein, for his support and knowledge in helping her start a business from scratch.
